Riyaad Minty is the Director of Business and Audience for TRT’s new digital brand, tabii. Riyaad moved to Istanbul in 2016 to join TRT, Turkey’s public broadcaster, where he has been responsible for the digital launches of the network’s international news channels and led the overall digital transformation of the TRT network as Director of Digital. Prior to that, Riyaad spent a decade at Al Jazeera (Doha/San Francisco), where he was the founder of AJ+, one of the world’s largest news outlets for the digital generation. Riyaad is also currently a chairperson for the ABU Digital Working Group Committee.
