Carribbean native Mezen Dannawi has worked in the media business for more than 30 years as a presenter, manager and director in both radio and television. He moved to Europe to study medicine and obtained his medical degree at the University of Utrecht. As a senior advisor to Dutch public broadcaster NPO for nine consecutive years, he analyzed relevant trends in the global media market. Mezen now manages NPO’s two streaming brands, NPO Start and NPO Plus, which he has been doing since 2017.
