Aldo Di Felice

CEO, Managing Partner

TLN Media Group Inc.

Aldo immigrated to Canada as a child and has been a lifelong resident of Toronto. After practising corporate commercial and securities law with a major Canadian law firm for 6 years, Aldo entered the media production and distribution industry, eventually joining Telelatino Network (now TLN Media Group) as president 1998.

Over the past 25 years, TLN has grown from a single channel to 7 owned and operated specialty TV services in Italian, Spanish and English.  Under Aldo’s leadership, TLN has expanded community-oriented partnerships, and created signature live events and festivals.

And after 20 years as a subsidiary of publicly traded media company Corus Entertainment, in 2019 TLN became fully independent when Aldo joined with the three existing Italian Canadian family shareholders of TLN to buy back Corus’ interest in TLN.

Under Aldo’s leadership TLN’s commitment to public service and philanthropy has set an example for all other ethnic media companies in Canada. TLN has provided promotional support to raise millions and also itself directly financially contributed to dozens of community based and international charitable organizations, raising funds for various causes – from health
related to natural disaster relief efforts to seniors and children’s causes, civic improvement and cultural projects. One of the more significant financial donations was TLN’s support towards the $13 million naming of the Galleria Italia at the AGO by two dozen Italian Canadian families and organizations. More recently in 2025 TLN Media Group joined with one of its partner
shareholders Joseph Vitale to establish a University of Toronto Chair in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.

Beyond his contributions to the media industry, Aldo Di Felice has been active in public service. He served for a decade as a member on the Public Accountants Council for the Province of Ontario and he now sits on the board of directors of the provincial government’s media development agency known as Ontario Creates. Aldo also sits on the board of Vividata, a not-for -profit corporation which is a leader in Canadian consumer and media research.   And Aldo is also a longstanding member of the President's Council at St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation.

Aldo Di Felice's contributions have been recognized by various groups over the years. In 2022, the Canadian Ethnic Media Association honoured Aldo for lifetime achievement in ethnic media. And in 2019, he was honored for his contributions to Canada’s Latino communities by the organizers of the 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians awards.  Most recently in 2024, Aldo was inducted into the Order of St. Jean de Brebeuf by the Brebeuf Jesuit College School Alumni Association. Aldo was also awarded the 2024 CIBPA Community Service Award by the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association’s annual awards gala.
