Barbara Hamori-Scripted Production: Starting off at RTL as a young professional, Barbara became the Programme Director of Viasat3 and Regional Director of MTG Central Europe in 2003. From 2014 to 2020, she acted as a showrunner at Content Lab, the renowned production house responsible for a number of hit series such as Our Little Village, Step Dave, 200 First Dates and Dear Heirs. Her first independent showrunner and producer’s work was The Godmother, which, though loosely based on a Croatian concept, was Barbara’s first original creation. Finally, Hotel Margaret, a daily scripted show debuting on RTL KLUB Hungary in 2022, was entirely Scripted Productions’ own development from concept to finish. Also coming to RTL Klub in 2022, The Chef and the Others was no longer a daily but a weekly comedy series, a Hungarian adaptation of the successful Russian sitcom titled Kukhnya. Throughout the years Barbara’s productions have won a number of professional awards establishing her as one of the leading showrunners and producers on the Hungarian TV market.
