Victoria Gorenstein founded Osnova Film Production with her partner Tetiana Kuts in 2020. Since launching, the company has created a package of artistic projects for the Ukrainian television market that have attracted attention from international partners. Drama mini-series Mama was selected for the main competition stream of international festival Serial Killer in Brno, Czech Republic, and it has since been distributed throughout the EU and the Arab world, selling to major buyers including ARTE and MENA. In Ukraine, Mama was watched by more than 30 million viewers on TV and digital platforms. During the full-scale war, Osnova produced an anti-fake TV series from Russia called Botoferma, as well as feature film Yurik, a co-production with Estonian public broadcaster ETV. The company works in various genres, with a focus on creating high-quality patriotic and socially important Ukrainian video content for TV channels and and platforms both in Ukraine and abroad.
